Continuing the Journey with the Oceania Chapter of the System Dynamics Society

I am delighted to announce that after serving for the past two years as a member of the Policy Council of the Oceania Chapter of the System Dynamics Society, I will continue my contribution to the community in a new capacity — as President of the Chapter.

Over recent years, I have witnessed a growing interest in applying systems approaches to better understand and address complex challenges in areas such as health, energy, the environment, transport, and public policy.

It is a real honour to collaborate with such an inspiring and supportive team on the Policy Council. The Oceania Chapter offers a valuable platform for sharing insights, exchanging experiences, and advancing the practice of system dynamics. Our focus will be on strengthening collaborations, enhancing visibility of the Chapter’s activities, and supporting the dissemination of system dynamics knowledge and practice across the region.

I warmly welcome collaborations from individuals, research groups, and organisations who are passionate about systems thinking and system dynamics modelling. Whether you are exploring ways to apply system dynamics in practice or simply curious to learn more, I would be glad to connect and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Together, we can continue building a strong and supportive community of practice that contributes to meaningful solutions for complex challenges in our region and beyond.

If you are interested in collaborating or learning more, please feel free to reach out.
